Frank Vannelli

Logistec Stevedoring Inc.

Frank Vannelli, senior vice-president, commercial and business development at Logistec Stevedoring Inc. has retired. Vannelli joined Logistec in 2007, bringing with him more than 25 years of experience in the maritime and international trade sectors. He oversaw the company’s sales and marketing efforts in North America and was instrumental in identifying many new growth opportunities for the company. Vannelli began his career with Cast Containers in Montreal and with the Montreal Port Authority, and moved into several vice-presidencies in Montreal, New York and Philadelphia with Hamburg-Süd North America. “Frank’s contribution to Logistec has been significant and meaningful. Frank stood out as a supportive leader, known for his authentic values, who leaves behind a strong team that is well positioned to meet our customers’ needs. Building on his legacy, agility and resilience will be at the forefront of our strategy to support our customers through the coming economic recovery,” said Rodney Corrigan, president of Logistec.

ISAAC Instruments

Saint-Bruno-de-Montarville, Quebec-based fleet management solutions company ISAAC Instruments has brought onboard three transportation industry professionals. Bill Vitti brings over 25 years of logistics and FreightTech experience, with leadership roles at truckstop.com, Swift Transportation and Cargomatic, to a position on the board of directors. David Mook also joins the board. He is the former COO of TMW Systems. Matt Ruth, former senior vice-president of professional services at TMW is now TMS integration director for ISAAC.

The Reusable Packaging Association

The Reusable Packaging Association (RPA) has new executive committee members and additions to its board of directors. After serving his term as chairman of the board, Michael Wasson, chief operating officer at Tosca, has passed the gavel to 2020 vice-chairman Ben Stoller, executive managing member and global CEO of Paxxal Group. Other changes to the RPA executive committee include the appointment of Kevin Mazula, CEO of RM2, to the role of vice-chairman and Samantha Goetz, marketing communications manager at ORBIS, to secretary-treasurer. Mazula previously served as the organization’s secretary-treasurer and Goetz served as a member of the RPA board. Other members joining the board in 2021 are: Graham Connor, senior vice-president, sales and customer support at iGPS Logistics; Aubree Duncan, director of food safety, Tosca; Paul Kamholz, vice-president, sales and marketing at Schoeller Allibert; Leslie LeMair, vice-president, sales and marketing, at Georg Utz; Andy Schumacher, vice-president, packaging systems division, SSI Schaefer; Bryan Tate, vice-president, product and category development at IFCO Systems; Ben Waterman, manager, business development, Monoflo International.
