Doug Thompson

Reibus

Doug Thompson has joined Reibus as its country leader for Canada. This hire will facilitate Reibus’s continues to expansion outside of the United States. Thompson was previously president of Coilplus Canada. He brings over 30 years of steel manufacturing and supply chain experience.

TSI Group

Laurie Wright has joined TSI Group to lead its leadership development practice. Wright has more than 25 years of experience as a senior executive and HR practitioner.

Hoyt

Loadsmart

Loadsmart has appointed Mark Hoyt as chief financial officer (CFO). Over more than 25 years, he has held management and executive roles in numerous business areas. Most recently, he served as CFO for digital identity and anti-fraud firm, OneSpan, and previously held roles in the U.S. and internationally at Groupon, CareerBuilder, Motorola and PricewaterhouseCoopers. Hoyt is a certified public accountant and earned an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

Sean Austerberry

Softbox

Softbox has appointed Sean Austerberry as research and product development director. Austerberry has more than 12 years’ experience, and spent the past seven years as a senior design engineer within the pharmaceutical cold chain industry.

Choice Logistics

Choice Logistics has appointed Patrick White senior vice-president, client services — Americas. White has 20 years of experience, most recently as senior vice-president of client solutions at Transport Insight, where he worked the past 7.5 years. Previously, he served in multiple senior leadership roles with IKON Office Solutions, OfficeMax, and Iron Mountain.

Brian Blanton

Grote Industries

Grote Industries has appointed Brian Blanton its CFO. Blanton’s appointment follows the retirement of Jim Braun, who was with Grote Industries for nearly 36 years. Blanton brings 25 years of experience in financial leadership roles with 20 years spent in automotive, commercial vehicle and off-highway supplier manufacturing. He most recently served as CFO of Mubea Group, North America, and previously served as director, EPM transformation at The Hackett Group, as well as CFO-Americas region of Modine Manufacturing Company. Blanton has a MBA in information systems from Xavier University.
