Nationex appointed Frank Bolduc as director of sales for Ontario and Western Canada. Bolduc has a strong background in the transportation industry with a focus on package courier and has held several executive senior sales roles. Previously he was vice-president of sales and marketing for one the largest courier companies in Canada.

Jill Bixby has been promoted to vice president of western area sales for Con-way Freight. A 17-year Con-way veteran, Bixby began her career with the company in 1998 as a customer service representative. She most recently served as director of sales, with responsibility for sales activities in the Pacific Northwest. In her new role, she oversees sales for Con-way Freight’s Western Area, which includes the 11 states in the western U.S., as well as North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota and Texas. Based in Portland, Oregon, she reports to Stephen Dean, senior vice president of sales for Con-way Freight.

Tiger Cool Express has promoted Bill Welker to senior vice-president, sales from vice-president, national accounts. Bob LeGrand has been appointed vice-president, operations. LeGrand was formally associate vice-president, operations for Werner Enterprises Intermodal Group. Brian Bowers is the new chief commercial officer. Bowers recently retired as vice-president of intermodal for Kansas City Southern Railroad and has held executive positions at Schneider, Hub Group and North American Van Lines.

SEKO Logistics has appointed Randy Sinker to the newly-created post of chief client solutions officer in response to the company’s growth into increasingly complex global supply chains. Based in Chicago, he will work closely with SEKO’s Customer Solutions Group teams in Europe and Asia Pacific. His new role includes responsibility for client on-boarding, implementations, account management and customer service. Sinker joined SEKO in 2004 as vice-president of international operations and has also served as senior vice-president of US operations and chief operating officer – Americas. In a 30-year career in the logistics industry, he previously worked for CF Air Freight, Emery Worldwide and CEVA.
