E2open, a provider an end-to-end supply chain management platform, has hired Kari Janavitz as chief marketing officer (CMO). Janavitz will report to CEO Michael Farlekas. Janavitz joins E2open from TE Connectivity, where she was the CMO. Janavitz joined TE in 2013 as the vice-president of brand and was named the enterprise CMO in January 2018. Before TE, she led brand, communications, and marketing teams at RedPrairie and Sapient. She also ran her own marketing and communications consulting firm focused on brand-building and marketing for technology companies. She is a graduate of Northwestern University.

ATCO

Norman M. Steinberg has been appointed to the ATCO’s board of directors, effective September 1, 2021. Steinberg is a director and vice-chairman of BFL Canada and Chairman of the nominating and governance committee. Previously, Steinberg was Chairman of Norton Rose Fulbright Canada and the Global Chairman of Norton Rose Fulbright. He also sits on several boards of directors including Dorel Industries Inc., Fiera Capital Corporation, Women in Governance, and the Australia-Canada Economic Leadership Forum, and chairs the McGill University Health Centre Foundation.

David Lara

David Lara has joined CargoAi’s Board of Advisors. He was SVP Global Airfreight Procurement & Capacity Management at CEVA Logistics for 20 years. Lara held various senior positions with both airlines and forwarders alike, including British Airways, Air Express International (AEI) and CEVA Logistics, in both the UK and overseas. He joined CEVA Logistics in 2000 and most recently held the position of head of Global Air Procurement & Network Management. Lara has worked across various organizations in a consulting capacity including IATA, BIFA and FIATA. He retired in October 2020 after a 48-year career.

Loadsmart

Loadsmart has named Bradford Wilkins as its first ever chief people officer. Timed with Loadsmart’s rapid expansion, Wilkins brings over a decade of experience working with high-growth companies in disruptive industries. Most recently, Wilkins served as vice-president of people at Collibra, a data intelligence company. Before Collibra, Wilkins was chief people officer at tech-enabled financial services company Altisource. Earlier in his career, Wilkins was responsible for talent management at Adcap Network Systems, WSE and other hyper-growth technology companies.
