The ProVeyance Group has introduced its ProSeries Pulleys, designed for improved performance and durability in conveyance systems used at airports, warehouses and other facilities.
The product line includes head and tail pulleys, as well as idlers for baggage, material handling and parcel markets. The pulleys, which measure up to 23 cm in diameter and 152 cm in length, feature quick-detachable hubs or tapered bore bushings with locking collars instead of traditional welded hubs. This design aims to reduce the risk of weld failure and increase the longevity of components.
“Our new ProSeries Pulleys perform beyond industry standards and are easy to service in the field,” said Adam Webster, vice-president of engineering and innovation for ProVeyance Group.
The company offers a range of shaft materials, including cold-rolled steel and TGP (turned, ground, polished) steel for precision fits. ProVeyance also balances pulleys to meet specific RPM ranges and provides custom designs when required.
Collin Sullivan, vice-president of marketing, said that growing customer demand spurred the company to develop a dedicated product line.
“The customer requests kept piling up, so the demand was an opportunity to design and manufacture a full product line of better-quality pulleys, in less time.”
