Bradman Lake acquires Ibonhart (Norwich) Ltd

Beccles, UK — Bradman Lake Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of the multi-disciplined UK engineering group, Langley Holdings plc, has acquired the business and operations of Ibonhart (Norwich) Ltd.
Ibonhart, established for more than three decades, is a specialized and innovative manufacturer of bread and baked goods bagging, slicing and packaging machinery which will complement Bradman Lake’s product offering to the bakery sector.
Established in 1948, Bradman Lake is a supplier of packaging technology solutions to the food industry incorporating the Autowrappers and Europack brands, and is an innovator of flexible automation using parallel axis robotic technology.
“We are very pleased to have completed this acquisition” said Bradman Lake managing director John Marlee.
“The synergies between the two companies are clear and the products complementary, providing a solid platform from which to strengthen and grow Bradman Lake’s position in the baked products sector by combining the products and services of both organizations”.
Bradman Lake is located in the UK and USA with regional offices in Russia, India and a network of independent sales and service partners around the world.
Langley Holdings PLC is a privately owned engineering and industrial group based in the United Kingdom with principal operating divisions located in Germany and France and more than 80 subsidiaries worldwide. The group’s companies produce equipment ranging from electrical systems for data centres, machinery for cement and steel plants to food packaging systems, automotive welding equipment and printing presses. The company was founded in 1975 by the current Chairman & CEO, Tony Langley. Today, the group has annual revenues approaching €1 billion, is entirely debt free and employs around 4,300 people worldwide.
