Gunvor Group Ltd. has rebranded as Centalion Group Ltd. and announced plans to relocate its corporate headquarters from Cyprus to Singapore as part of a broader strategic shift following a management buyout completed in 2025.
The company said the name change was approved by its employee partnership and reflects its growth beyond oil trading into energy, metals, minerals and infrastructure investments. The new brand took effect Oct. 2, while the rollout across the company’s global operations will occur over the coming months.
According to the company, Singapore was selected because of its legal and business environment, financial markets and trading infrastructure. The company said its major trading offices will remain in Singapore, Geneva and Houston.
“The name Centalion reflects who we are: one team, moving together, at the heart of the global energy markets,” said Gary Pedersen, chairman and CEO of Centalion.
The company said it traded record volumes during the first half of 2026 and employs more than 2,000 people globally. Its operations include physical trading of crude oil, refined products, natural gas, LNG, power, biofuels, metals and minerals, supported by global shipping and infrastructure investments.
Centalion said existing contracts and business relationships will remain unchanged as a result of the rebranding and proposed redomiciling.
