Shawn Dickmeyer

Shawn Dickmeyer, a Toyota Material Handling (TMH) associate, earned a gold medal in the welding category at the 2022 Global Skills Competition hosted by the Toyota Material Handling Group (TMHG) in Takahama, Japan. Dickmeyer beat competitors from other Toyota group companies based in China, France, Italy and Sweden, as well as additional U.S. participants during the annual international competition. Before advancing to the global competition and a nine-day trip to Japan, Dickmeyer first proved his superior skills against other hopeful competitors from other Toyota group companies in North America during a regional competition.

Toromont Material Handling Quebec

Toromont Material Handling Quebec has been recognized as one of Mitsubishi Logisnext Americas‘s 2023 Dealers of Excellence. The annual award program honours dealers representing the Mitsubishi forklift trucks, Cat lift trucks, and Jungheinrich warehouse and automation products across North America. This year’s winners were selected from more than 75 Cat lift truck, Mitsubishi forklift truck and Jungheinrich dealers within the Mitsubishi Logisnext Americas dealer network in North America. 

Sasha Goodman

Sasha Goodman, chief administrative officer (CAO) at Rock-it Global, received the Airforwarders Association (AfA) Jim Foster Lifetime Achievement award at the AirCargo 2023 event in Nashville, Tennessee. The award recognizes her career in air cargo as well as her 12 years of service on the AfA board of directors, and her championing of women in air cargo. Goodman has spent over 25 years at Rock-it, starting as vice-president sales and was appointed CAO in 2020. She is an advocate for gender diversity in the air cargo industry.

Wiliot

Wiliot, an Internet of Things platform provider, has been recognized as a 2023 VIP Award Winner in the Best Distribution Innovation category by the US-based National Retail Federation (NRF). Wiliot won against finalists including Logicbroker, Logility, Manhattan Associates, and ProGlove. The VIP Awards recognize the companies developing breakthrough solutions that deliver the most significant value to retailers. The Best Distribution Innovation award recognizes the solution that’s driving productivity, reducing costs and speed to destination, and creating more efficient retail supply chains. In addition to its Best Distribution Innovation award win, Wiliot was also recognized as a finalist in the Best Breakthrough Technology Solution category.
